On this Happy Monday I encourage you to take a moment out of your day to sit outside and enjoy the simple things. Simple things such as trees that provide shade and grass that pads the ground. Even enjoy the creation of life! How beautiful all these things are. For my friends in Orange County- we live by some pretty stunning beaches! And for my friends in Arizona- We have gorgeous mountain ranges! Sometimes our view of where we live and what we see can be clouded by complacency. Enjoy where you live and all the beautiful things surrounding you! Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a enjoyable and relaxing Thanksgiving! Happy Monday everyone! There's so many reasons to be happy! As you can see from my last blog post, I got the amazing opportunity to spend my Thanksgiving in the beautiful Kauai. My flight actually just got in this morning! The views and beaches were stunning and it really made me appreciate all the beauty God has created.
My Thanksgiving break
It was a happy Thanksgiving indeed. I was blessed by the Fetner family with a vacation to the beautiful island Kauai. It was truly a blessing to have an opportunity to go to this beautiful island for a second time and I couldn't be more thankful. The first trip to Kauai I had an amazing time with my own family, so I was excited to experience it again a second time. I have been stressed and quite exhausted from school this semester, and I got 11 days to unwind and relax and virtually worry about nothing on this trip. Homework and studying was replaced with the beach and a book. Kauai is a breathtaking place filled with luscious green fields, picturesque mountains, and crystal blue waters. It was refreshing to sit back, relax, and enjoy the beautiful creation. Thank you Fetner family for inviting me on this trip and taking me on many adventures! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and took time to remember everything we have to be thankful for! Now let the Christmas festivities begin!

I recently watched a video called "Everything is Amazing & Nobody is Happy" where Louis CK jokes about our generation and how we have everything and yet still find reasons to complain. If you haven't seen it you should click on that link and watch! My roommate and I joke how this video "changed my life" because ever since I watched it I find myself noticing/pointing out how we (notice I said we, I'm 100% included) complain multiple times a day about things that we really shouldn't waste our breathe on! So through this revelation was birthed a new blog series I would like to call "Happy Monday!" There are so many reasons to be happy-especially on the day that starts our week!
November is the month of Thanksgiving, you know, the holiday where we are thankful for the blessings God has given us! Write a list of everything you're thankful for and remind yourself of those daily! Carry on the spirit of thanksgiving on throughout the year because everyday should be thanksgiving in my opinion! Today is a Happy Monday because it's the last full week of school & work for everyone! Next week we all have a day off! So enjoy this week knowing you have a day of family, food, and relaxation coming! You can do it!

Congrats to this beautiful Vanguard Senior! She is graduating this semester- but don't worry- she will still be around as she is continuing with grad school! Kim is so stunning and has one of the funniest personalities. If you don't know her, you should, because her blunt humor with have you laughing so hard. I almost forgot to take some pictures because we were having such great and funny girl talk! So happy I can call her my friend and can call her up anytime I need a model! Congratulations Kimberly, definitely looking forward to seeing what big things you do in the future! Xoxo
